Our guests this week to discuss and preview the Expo are Marc Missioreck from The Fitness Expo and Kathleen Callahan from Evolution Fitness Conference.

The Fitness Expo returns Saturday and Sunday, January 28-29, 2012 to the Los Angeles Convention Center for its 9th Annual edition.

California’s largest fitness weekend allows attendees the opportunity to come face to face with celebrities, executives and fitness industry veterans. Over 300 of the most innovative companies in fitness will be on hand to display products and services with many offering discounts and complimentary samples.

There are two new contests this year including the First Annual Javier Vazquez Kids Wrestling Championships and CrossFit Teens and including the inaugural Healthy Eating Pavilion on the expo floor. The Evolution Fitness Conference, runs in conjunction with the 2012 Expo, offers CEU’s for personal trainers and group fitness instructors.

Along with these new attractions, several fan-favorites are set to return including The Gracie US Nationals & Kids World Championships, The All-American Strongman Challenge, The Iron Man Naturally, The Scot Mendelson Classic, CrossFit Kids, The USPA American Cup Powerlifting Championships, The LA Fitness Expo Bench press and Deadlift Championship, and The American Record Makers Olympic Weightlifting Competition.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to compete in the MAX REPS 4 CASH Competition. Bodybuilding.com ‘s BodySpace Spokesmodel Search returns, which will allow one lucky man and woman to grace the cover of Iron Man Magazine and represent bodybuilding.com and the BodySpace community.

The Los Angeles Fitness Expo offers a huge and growing MMA presence with Sherdog and MMA Worldwide presenting top athletes, pro-training sessions, ring girl contests, live remotes and many vendors with the latest gear.

Adult admission tickets are $20 per day or $30 for the full weekend, children 12 years and under are $10 per day and children under 6 are free, Show hours are Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM and Sunday, 10 AM – 5PM.
