I do not remember the downward journey to the point where my life became unbearable and meaningless. I just remember arriving there after a series of traumatic events and health problems. I was recovering from Thyroid cancer, I was 35lb over weight, I was terribly deconditioned and my self-esteem was at an all-time low. I needed a new sense of direction, and something to believe in. myself. The decision was made to get in shape and attempt to take control of my life again, but I found progress wasn’t as spontaneous and instantly gratifying as I had anticipated. I enlisted the help of a Personal Trainer, and I was completely amazed by the results I was able to achieve. That was 14 years and 35 lbs ago. My success changed the direction of my life completely. Three months after starting my program, I achieved my goal. I was so totally inspired by my trainer, that I too decided that I would like to help others   experience this positive and motivating change. This strength of character that grew within carried me through another of lifes hurdles, I relapsed and again  battled with the silent enemy. Since then I have dedicated my life to helping each and everyone of my clients to reach their individual goals, whatever they may be, and I will continue to advance my training skills through further education to provide the most motivating and effective training techniques for my clients.

Delphi’s Philosophy of Personal Training:

Anything worth achieving is worth working for. Exercise and healthy eating take discipline, will power, character, persistence and a commitment to delayed gratification. Prepare yourself for some hard work. Together we will move towards your goals one step at a time in the pursuit of success. Regardless of anything else- busy lifestyles, lack of energy or time, it is important for you to lead a healthy and active life. Just remember if you want to be thinner 10 years from now, it not so much what you do over the next 8 weeks that matters, it is what you do over the next 10 years….   Don’t waste precious time sweating the small stuff, Life is a wonderful gift so smile and enjoy it!
